switch_connection

Moves the session to another connection or database.

“Switch to the analytics database.”

Your assistant may call switch_connection to answer.

How it works

Pass a profile name, a database, or both. Passing only database stays on the same server.
Most query tools also accept connectionId / database for one call, without switching.

connectionIdstring: Name of a configured connection profile, as returned by list_connections. Defaults to the active connection, so passing only `database` switches database.
databasestring: Database name on that connection. Defaults to the profile's configured database.
